Joy Alukkas is an Indian entrepreneur and jewelry store owner who was born in Cochin, India in 1956. After dropping out of school, he opened the family's first overseas store in Abu Dhabi in 1987 and later launched his own Joyalukkas brand. Today, the brand has 130 outlets in India and 13 other countries, as well as other interests such as money exchange, luxury aviation, malls, silks, and real estate. His son John Paul works with him in the business.
